Yes I agree...it almost looks like an artifact doesn't it? At the same time, I think I was very much influenced by my summers in Newport RI. The place is full of old mansions and old statuary. Lots of old copper/bronze too (they don't rust in the salty sea air but they DO turn exactly this shade of green). He has that kind of dignity.
