The news in some ways isn't all bad...I actually feel more hopeful than I have in years. What makes me sad is all the resistance to progress that I see. I have a hard time imagining that there are people who are really happy with the way things have been in this country for the last 8 years, but they're out there & they scare me to death. :-/ I suppose if they knew someone who'd been renditioned, or knew someone who lost their home because of a usurious ARM loan, they might feel differently?

Anyway, my LJ is like my house. You're all guests. I'll try to keep things pretty & happy in here, but if something upsets me, I reserve the right to bitch about it...& then I'll get back to "pretty & happy" right quick. ;-)
