Dramatic

Here's a kitsune I just finished...

She's up in my Etsy shop already.  I probably have made this design before but not in these colors, and I think the gold against the white is so precious and dainty.

I'm working on a Shiranui mask, from Okami.  It was always just a matter of time before I did one, since I've done Amaterasu already.  It's going to be stunning and very popular, and it's making me want to revisit Okami again.  But of course, it is yet another dog/wolf/fox/canid mask and I do an awful lot of those, don't I?  I feel the need to challenge myself and start making more cats or birds or scene masks or something...   I do love dogs though, so if I get a reputation for being The Dog Maskmaker I guess that's okay.  Speaking of dogs, I'm really missing Inuyasha lately.  I never thought I'd say it (especially after all the years of rambling sword-upgrade story arcs) but it was fun to follow that manga.   I like my drama to be pretty with dog ears, and of the manga/anime type.

Not like real life!  I am surrounded by drama here.  Teenage daughter drama, husband drama, aging mother drama...entirely too much drama.   Everyone dumps the drama on me and I'm expected to untangle it all, keep the peace, and make everyone happy.  It's too much to expect from me, I say.   Can't I just make pretty things and y'know...clean the house from time to time?  Must I also be the therapist/counsellor/cruise director?

It's enough to make you want to curl up in a ball, cover your nose with your fluffy tail, and go to sleep (I'm taking my cues from Kiba, can you tell?)

Another bit of dog wisdom: Try to treat all stressful situations as would a dog: "if you can't eat it or hump it, then piss on it and walk away" Kiba's entirely too well-mannered to go around humping things, but you get the idea. Hope the drama subsides quicklyP

Likewise, if it smells really bad I can roll in it! Kiba does that too. ;-)

Anyway it's all good now. A long bike ride & 24 hours later, it all seems to have melted away.
