Purple Peep Eater.

So horribly busy right now, making things.  I've discovered something about myself...I have a hard time feeling motivated to work unless I have a mission.  I need deadlines and projects and a good poke, or else I stagnate.  How immature of me!

[profile] rumdiculous, by the way, is a total sweetheart who sent me a serendipitous impromptu package which I received just in the nick of time (I was about to descend into a session of self-pity...I'm feelin' weak today).    I opened it up and was rewarded with a purple plush bunny shaped like a Peep, and I love Peeps.  Among iconic sugar treats there's nothing cuter...though I admit I like them best when they're just a bit stale.

Thanks, kiddo.  :-)  You make me smile.

Back to work.  A whole flock of masks are cut out on my living room floor and just lay there like flattened roadkill from a bizarre steamroller/Mardi Gras mishap.  The pantheon of Egyptian god masks mocks me with its half-finished state.  I can't rest until everyone is properly gilded for a trip to the afterlife (or perhaps just some masked ball).

Yay! You got the prezzie!

I love those little purple peeps. They're really good if you heat them in the microwave for a few seconds, they get all melty. If you keep them in there longer they turn into mutants and blow up. ...something to try out next time your bored. :D

That sounds remarkably messy! On that note...I wonder if you can toast Peeps over a fire on a stick. It'd be one disturbing Peep, though. They'd look like cute little third degree burn victims, poor bunnies and chicks.

When heating, make sure they don't turn to mush. I like them when they're very soft and slighty warm. ...Actually you could just lay them in the sunlight for a few minutes and acheive the same affect without the microwave...

Next time you're in a bad mood, roast one of those little suckers to take the anger out. XD
