OMG you are going to LOVE it. That city is so alive all the time, and the desert is simply gorgeous. Also, the weather! Very pleasant. It's so dry that 99 degree heat feels like no big deal (not like here where the humidity makes it feel like you're breathing hot soup anytime it gets over 80).
