Waah! I've lived here most of my life and I've never seen anything like this...what a mess!

I think the mail's supposed to resume today, now that most of the live lines are up. We cleaned up this neighboorhood anyway so I think things will be back to normal soon.

Thanks for thinking of me. :-) Was it a big national story? I heard we made CNN and The Weather Channel but all we had here for news was a freaky little conservative radio station (at least we knew about the closings...Charlotte's school is a Red Cross shelter and she has no classes through Wednesday). I have no idea what's happening in the world.
