In truth, I really feel great about the gallery thing. The minute I stepped into Lahaina I realized they were far too upscale for someone like me...I'm just getting my feet wet and they had some really important work from really established artists (the Otsuka prints blew me away...his work is freaking awesome). There wasn't a single original piece in there for less than 50K. I need a different kind of place to launch myself.

Greg (the director at Lahaina) was SO wonderful, though. I really think he ":got" my artwork...and it didn't hurt that during our lunch we had a freaking CROWD around our table, gasping over the few pieces I brought. He could see the appeal my art had for just about everybody. Nothing works better than public enthusiasm. :-)

Oh, I hope your turkey Day was great too! We had a pleasant, quiet day here, with lots of calls from family all over.
