I would be very very surprised if you couldn't get amazing deals on Vegas fares, for much the same reason you can find all sorts of incredibly cheap housing and restaurant specials there -- they want you to be happy and stick around as long as possible so you will blow lots and lots of money on the shows and gambling. Loss leaders. ;)
