Fortunately, the smell of "wet dog" cannot be shared online...
Oh, but I kid. Because for some strange reason the lovely and talented Kiba does not smell bad when he's wet!! I have no idea why.
We have a really addled rabbit that has decided to set up camp in our back yard. The yard is gated, so KIba is allowed back there to romp, chase the bunny away, and get all worked up (hence the pool, as huskies do not operate well when heated). Then, once we let him out of the yard, the damn bunny comes right back! I've seen him sit on the other side of the fence and taunt the dog who is only a few feet away. That is one bold, stupid rabbit.
People may get sick, important terrorist personages may get blown into tiny bits, but the DOGFUN must endure.

First, the filling of the pool must be supervised.

Then, Kiba's job is to circle, bite the water, kill that hose, and generally splash about like a goofball.

Nope, I can't get him to lay down in the pool. Wet feet are great fun appparently, but a wet belly is not.

Okay, so this has very little to do with the pool (except that the pool breaks are initiated with yard romps, and doesn't everything look awfully green already?? It's been a rainy spring.

I mean...I don't want a dog or anything. >_>
Just looking at him having so much fun should make everyone's day awesome by proxy!

Weird, Blossie hates getting her body wet too. She will only dip her paws in the water, no matter how hot it gets. Iris and Chloe is drive bomb into the water with no qualms about where they get wet. When we lived by the James River, we'd go swimming almost everyday in the summer. I'd swim all the way across the river only to look back and find that Iris was trying to follow me. Only she's about 100 lbs lighter than me, and couldn't fight the current. Then everyone in the river had to play 'catch that dog'. It's adorable having a dog that swims in really deep water, they'll cling to you like no tomorrow.
I envy you and your rain. We have none to boast of.
And that is one cool rabbit. I like his style.

I LOVE a dog that swims. Kiba is too fearful of water (to be fair a wet husky is like a soaked cotton ball...they just aren't designed for swimming) but my old Aussies used to love swimming, especially Tucker. I would point at any body of water and say "Go swimming!" and he'd jump right in and swim out as far as I dared let him go, just because he loved to. He'd be so enthusiastic he'd leave a little wake! :-)
