Well, we're off soon.  "Army Of Anyone" Concert tomorrow in Detroit, event on Saturday in Kalamazoo, then home Sunday (it'll take all day to drive back).    I can not make one more thing...I'm dead tired.

Ugh...Don't you hate it when you're tired and there are a thousand things to do?  I get so stressed out because I'm certain I'll forget something.  The older I get, the more I like to make lists and write notes to myself.  Letters from a crazy person.  It's the details that do me in;  "oh crap, I have to buy dog food.  Oh crap, I have to clean the bathroom 'cause Mom's staying here all weekend to puppysit."...stuff like that.

Well, I'll leave you with my FAVORITE Yoko Kanno song ever.  And a video.  The song is from Cowboy Bebop and so is the video (though IMO it's a bit jumbled in its message because, y'know, fanvideo...but that's ok 'cause Spike is pretty, even with his goofy nuclear fusion hair).  Poor Spike.  "Bang" indeed, my friend.

EDIT:  Holy cow LAKE SNOW!  Grr!  I don't think we'll be able to leave tonight...it's so bad the thruway is closing down.  *pout*  It's supposed to end tomorrow morning.  I think we'll leave then, just to be safe.  Surprise concert tickets = fun.  Getting stranded in sub-zero temps on a snow-closed thruway = opposite of fun.

Heh...you mean my soul-killing little stuff? Seeing that doesn't make you want to slap me upside the head? ;-) I feel like such a sell-out when I put a barette clip on the back of anything. But y'know, at least it keeps me busy and it's a sure seller for me. Life for a wandering artist in George W Bush's America is HARD.

I'm doing I-Con next month too so I have to really stock up on that little stuff. I'll sell a good chunk of it this weekend though, I'm sure. And OMG I just got a HUGE hide yesterday so I can finally make some more dragon plaques that have been on my mind for awhile. Can't wait!

We have been SO dumped on. The last week or so has been absolutely crazy. Right here where I live we've had altogether about a foot of snow...but just a few miles south of here there are about 5 feet of snow. People's roofs are falling in from the weight.

Oddly enough, it's the warm temps we had in January that are doing us in. The Great Lakes are all so freakishly warm that when the arctic air from Canada finally made its way down here (like it always does every Feb) it passed over this warm water & it's just like turning on a snow-making-machine.

I sure hope Erie freezes over soon. :-/

Aww...poor Spike but I actually feel WORSE for Fay. When she draws her bed in the dirt where her home used to be... *sobsob* That's what she's doing in the scene from the anime that uses this song. Ed marches off into the sunset with Ein, Fay tries to go home, and poor Spike & Jet are alone with FINALLY plenty of food to eat, but no family to eat it with. Waaah! "Hard Luck Woman" is one of the saddest anime episodes I've ever seen (& Cowboy Bebop has more than their fair share of drama as it is).

We're supposed to get some more winter weather on Tuesday. I'm torn between being happy (yay snow) or being disgruntled.

Oh yes, that anime would pull at the heartstrings at the oddest moments.
