You remind me a bit of myself. When I had the first gall bladder attack, Bob took me to the emergency room. It was the worst pain I'd ever experienced (think "small toothy animal chewing its way out of your abdomen), and I was convinced that it was my appendix. Well, we get to the ER, and they jumped me ahead of the other person who was there (I know that I was hyperventilating - apparently I was also gray.) Three or four hours later, the attack ended and it didn't hurt anymore. And there I sit, wired up to all these different things, thinking I was an idiot. All I would have had to have done was waited it out. I kept apologizing for wasting everyone's time.
But the point is, I didn't *know*. Neither did you.
I hope you kept the appointment. You should at least find out what caused all of that.
