Bored. Bored bored bored. I have work to do (a few new orders to finish, some stuff to mail, laundry to do...and I really ought to write up my X-mas cards) but all the boredom is sapping my will to live.
What I really want to do is go for a nice long walk...or even better, a long bike ride. But it's cold as hell out there, windy, and dark already. It gets dark at about 4:30 now...that's SO depressing. I really have to just remove the bike rack from the back of the car and ACCEPT that bike-riding season is over...but that smells like defeat to me.
Waah.
Good thing: I straightened up my picture files and found this:
It's the second koi plaque I did, back when I was experimenting with koi plaques. I actually liked this one better than the first...I just didn't share it at the time because I was so unhappy with the less-than-dramatic results of the whole Great Koi Massacre of '06. In retrospect it aint that bad...it's just not GREAT. S'ok though, the Wave Dragon plaque came after these and he satisfied my yen for drama.
Hmm...what else? Oh! "Thank You For Smoking" was very very funny, clever, and worth renting. It made me laugh out loud a LOT, and unlike most comedies(of the "Meet The Fokkers" variety) I did not want to slit my wrists at any point during the movie. If you haven't seen it and you want to see a smart funny film, go rent it .
