I stepped outside tonight and found it VERY clear and VERY cold.  The moon was like a bright spotlight, and there were some really bright objects that were still visible even though they were pretty close to the moon.  Usually when it's nearly full like it is now and really bright, you can't see anything close to it because the ambient light blocks out the stars.  But here were three very bright dots...bip, bap, bop, all around the moon.  "Planets!" I think to myself, (because I am occasionally a clever monkey).

So I came in and did a search and sure enough I found out...it's Saturn and Venus and Mercury.  What a beautiful sight.  Venus was especially glorious.  So tomorrow night, if it's clear, pop outside around midnight if you're on the East coast and get a look at the moon & the planets all 'round it...it's really lovely.

There were some scary tornadoes in Florida yesterday.  Some came pretty close to my sister in Daytona Beach.  I called and she's okay.

I'm making things like crazy.  Also, the Okami soundtrack that has gobbled up my soul is very inspiring & it's compelling me to draw pretty things.  If anything turns out to be promising (or even interesting) I'll be sure to share.
