And! The gridwalls came...finally! OMG what a pain in the ass...I'm never ordering from those people again. Still, the grids look AWESOME and are exactly what I need. They're a little heavier than I thought they would be (that's what husbands are for) but they're shiny & pretty & black & spiffy-looking & OMG THEY DIDN"T SEND THE ALLEN WRENCH I NEED TO CONSTRUCT THESE!!!
Doh! I ordered it too. I am NOT even going to call them, though, because it's an exercise in futility. Why bother? Fortunately my mom has a set she can loan me. Grr...
Anyway, the hooks I got for the wall (which came from a different, more efficient company) work like a charm. It's a pretty simple setup really, and the components are available from a variety of sources so if I want to expand (or get longer hooks, or whatever) it'll be easy enough to do.

I finished those arm dragons and ALL the masks, so yay me. Had the car safety-checked (and ended up buying 4 new tires...oh well) and thank-you Firestone for squeezing me in!. Taxes done yesterday too. I am a model of efficiency. All that's left is packing (simple enough) and getting our plot coursed by AAA. I freaking love their triptychs!
OMG I am SO going to have a drink of something in the booze-family of beverages once I get my arse into that hotel tomorrow night...this has been a hellish two-week runup to this I-Con event. At least it's almost over.
