Well, I have my car back. I refuse to tempt fate by crowing about it. My car is diminished in my eyes...it's a bitter pill. First thing this morning; the "check engine" light went on...again. I made an irate call to the service garage...again. They got the manager on the phone who assured me that it is a "false code" and nothing to worry about.
The "check engine" light glows on my dash display like an evil ember of impending doom. I am not mollified. If it's still on next week I'm taking the damn car back in. *sigh* It hurts to watch an old friend fall apart. It's like seeing your favorite college professor at a party throwing up in the bushes. It shakes your confidence.
Meanwhile; busy busy. With the car back, I once again returned to my role as "supermom/superbusinesswoman" & I had a LOT to do today. Several packages mailed to Etsy buyers. That enterprise is going very well. I used some of my PayPal windfall to purchase a showcase...it's for the 23rd this month & I'm hopeful about the response.
I'm working on some small masks for my Etsy site. See? My desk tonight:
Scaryhuge storms moving across the Midwest tonight, knocking on Western New York's door by tomorrow. It's been in the mid to high seventies yesterday & today...nearly eighty tomorrow. Our local weatherman already used the term "tornado outbreak" regarding tomorrow. Scary stuff! I'm glad Char doesn't have classes tomorrow...that's a fortunate thing.
Oh! Another fortunate thing; Okami is coming to the Wii! This means I'm going to have two versions of the same game. Redundancy is a good thing. Also, it may mean that there are renewed hopes for a sequel. That would make me a very happy chimp.
ok...back to work I think.
