Yeah, good news. The washer is fixed. It's awesome, having that extended service policy, because it cost me nothing at all...nothing! I didn't even have to sign anything. "It's all in the computer on the truck" he said, so there. I didn't even have to give him my policy number or anything, 'cause it was all in the computer. On the truck. Yeah!
Etsy goes well. I put up a new Venetian cat mask and took a new picture of my Venetian bird ('cause the last one was way too dark). Sunday nights are always busy selling nights for me. Last week I sold three masks on Sunday including my huge Fire Dragon...this weekend another mask & barrette. Mucho thanks to
silverontherosefor her purchase, by the way. Your item and a free gift are on the way today. I'm still offering gifts to all you LJ folks who buy my stuff on Etsy...it's the least I can do, guys. :-) Just make sure you leave me a message on the order form, if your buyer name for Etsy is one I won't recognize from here, ok?
I have another Venetian cat but I'm waiting 'til tomorrow to put it up. I'm pacing myself. The impulse is to slap it ALL up there but I think I get more hits if I stagger it a little. Each fresh listing gets featured only once, so it's better to make the most of it. I bought a showplace listing that's supposed to run today, sometime. Hopefully that'll boost numbers again. I hate to go on & on, but the site is a hoot and it's fun figuring out different marketing strategies...it's a microcosm of the business world, in there.
Speaking of Etsy (& I always am these days *feeling one-dimensional*), I bought some artisan tea there a few weeks ago & I finally had a chance to try it out. It's yerba mate/lemongrass tea and it is yummy and awesome. The lemongrass gives it a citrusy little zing and the yerba mate is even better than my oolong tea for a boost. A nice boost too...not jittery or sick but energetic & awake. Tea never affects me like coffee does...I get a nice jolt but no bad side effects & when it wears off I don't crash. Gotta love the tea.
It's a lovely, sunny day. I actually raked today (I'm feeling better) and I could almost go for a bike ride (it's warm for November...almost 60) but I probably shouldn't/won't. *shrug* I'll be back on my feet soon.
