Well I hope everyone is having a nice time with family/friends/food. We just got back from a very pleasant evening at the REd Coach Inn in Niagara Falls. Dinner was great & anything but traditional...we all went with weird stuff (I had salmon, Greg had steak, Char had some kind of vegetable/garlic/pasta thing). Cabernet (for me) always makes everything better...booze heals. ;-)
And, for the benefit of family members far away in the land of sunshine & palm trees; a photo commemoration of the day...

It is snowing ever so gently here. We were supposed to get pasted, but the cold front took its time moving in so there's just a pretty "frosting" of snow on all the branches...actually quite lovely. More snow is forecast for tomorrow & most of it is north of here. I am hoping against hope that I may be able to try out my wonderful new cross-country skis tomorrow.
