Yay!!

 O boy!  The walls are finally finished & they look awesome!   I love grass cloth wallpaper, it has so much character & texture.  This warm sage is JUST the perfect thing, it makes the whole room glow.

The room's nearly done.  All we need are switchplates (I want a light oak, because all the furniture in there will be oak).  The new light fixture is up (it's wonderful with swirly white clouded glass flutes & brushed silver).  Now I REALLY need a new china cabinet.  Like...BADLY.  The one I have is something I picked up about 20 years ago, when my ex & I were furnishing our old Niagara Falls house on the cheap.  It cost 40 bucks & it's an antique curio cabinet...built in the 1920's.  It's all dark & Victorian & while many would think it a treasure I personally can't stand it.  I want something in a light golden oak...modern & open with plenty of glass so I can see my pretty things.

Greg says we can get a Shaker table & benches in oak too.  I have always wanted that setup ever since I saw it in Oak Express...it's got plenty of storage space in the benches & it's such an efficient use of a small area. 

Also...curtains.  We need curtains.

The switchplates & curtains...those I can do today.  Maybe pictures then, even though the old cabinet looks like hell.
