What a storm.  It snowed and rained and ice pellets fell from the sky, and then it blew and then more snow fell.   It's still blowing and snowing out there.  When it all ends (sometime Sunday morning they say on the Weather Channel) we'll probably have about 20 inches of snow on the ground.

There is so much snow, Kiba is a little unhappy.  When the snow is deep enough to brush his belly when he walks through it (& he's a tall dog so, you know...that's pretty deep) he gets uncomfortable.   He looks pretty tough but he's not a sled dog, he's a show-type husky & consequently he's a bit of a hot-house flower.  Funny dog.

I work and work.

This dragon was fun.  For some reason I gave it wonderfully long horns, and I also succumbed & used my favorite color combination; jewel-tone aqua blue with copper/bronze.   I mixed plenty of metallic medium, so the whole thing is shimmery & pearly.  The stone is carnelian.

It's already up on Etsy.  That place inspires me to work my ass off.  At any rate, it's very rewarding.  I'm closing in on my 200th sale, and this weekend I topped 700 "watchers".  That's incredible.

I'm very tired.   The wind is howling & Sunday we have a lot of digging out to do (Greg's car is just a vaguely car-shaped mound of snow).   Better get to bed.
