Love in the mail!

Aww!  I am a lucky, lucky person.  Today I was awakened by a knock at the door (yes, it was noon & I was still sleeping...I worked until 5AM , waddaya want?  ;-)  ) & there, on my doorstep, was a HUGE box.  Really mammoth.  So I opened it & inside, a lovely note from my dear friend

a_hollow_year and not one or two but THREE framed pieces of Chinese calligraphy; our names.

She also included the meanings of the characters & instructions for drawing them.  Her choice for Charlotte's name especially blew me away: Xia (summer) lu (green) te' (special).  They're going on the wall for all to see.  With her permission I'll put up pics when I have them hung on the wall, because they're stunning & charming & really NEAT.   Such an incredibly thoughtful gift.

I've learned something this week; Etsy is not as effortless for me as some people may think.  I've slacked off listing (I usually do two or three fresh listings a day but this week I only put up a few small masks), & when I don't list, it's like I disappear.  ONE sale this week.  Poop!  

I put up an announcement in my shop, warning of the impending I-Con show.  Everything's going with me.  Frankly I'd rather sell it on Etsy.

Back to work.  Busy busy busy...
