Masks, Work, & Cirque.

kls_eloise's report about the Cirque Du Soleil show she went to last week.   They've taken my lovely mask design & turned it into something horrible and wrong.  Of course I knew they would do that, but OMG just go look at the Ugly.   *sigh*  HOW am I supposed to use the Cirque account in my resume' now, when I have to point to that & say it's my design...hmm?  Frustrating!

In other news I spent the weekend making & selling things quite handily on Etsy.  I think I could just sell wolf masks there & nothing else, if I wanted to.  I listed two wolves & a day later they were both gone.  Since then I've been bombarded by laments (from people who missed the chance to buy them) and requests for more.  Whew!  I'm all out of leather or I'd make more right now (fortunately I ordered a hide last week so it should be here any day now).

Anyway! 

I finished a really cool custom-colored coyote mask last night but have yet to take pictures of it, so it'll have to wait.   In the meantime I am working on a blue version of my Art Nouveau angel mask (John's angel really...I must always always remember to give him credit.  He sketched her out in no time flat).  She'll have pale blue hair, pale skin, a deep blue ribbon and silver wings.  The roses are white.  I think it'll be quite stunning really...sort of an icy-cold angel instead of a warm red/brunette one.

Today looks warmer than yesterday, at least.  Sunnier for sure.  I am praying it warms up enough for me to head out & hit the trails on my Trek.  ^__^  Hope your day is sunny & bright too!
