Going Places!

 Charlotte is going to Japan in less than a week.  Needless to say I am thrilled for her, and also jealous.  And also a little worried.  Not that anything bad is going to happen to her, but she's my only baby and yeah...other side of the world & all, y'know.

So!  I'm heading to Vegas to see my brother.  Just for 5 days or so, while she's gone.  It'll get my mind off the fact that she's, y'know...on the other side of the planet.  Plus, it's always great to spend time with John.   He's a little like Robin Williams in the sense that the party is wherever he is (minus the drug addiction and the crazy).

Just bought my plane tickets!  Woo!

I might be doing a very exclusive high-end show in Vegas this October, by the way.  A one-day event & it's by invitation only, so I was quite flattered to be chosen.  This year is shaping up to be a very busy one for me.   More on that to come, I'm sure.

In other news; I bought myself one of those tee shirts...the tissue-thin clingy woman-shaped shirts that everyone wears these days.  Char wears 'em all the time.  I was trepidatious because it is form-fitting & hides nothing, & I am in the habit of hiding...things.  But!  In fact it looks great!   Yay for ab crunches, my new bestest buddies.  ^_^
