Painting was fun, right up to the point that my husband broke his arm. I'm still not sure how he did it, something about an unsteady ladder and the stairs... :-/
I'm just SO glad this particular project is finished! I'm not really very good at home improvement-type work. I must put pics up though, because some of the things in that room look so cool.
Waah! I miss my bike rides. Here in western NY state there are all these wonderful, long bike paths that go through the prettiest places. This is a picture, from the canal, of my favorite trail that runs along the Erie canal. It's over 150 miles long! My second favorite trail runs along the Niagara river...all the way from Buffalo to Niagara Falls. So you see I'm pretty busy as long as the paths are clear and the weather is nice. All this enforced idleness during the Winter months though...it really gets me down.
