Um I sound like a desert hobbit. I mean, sangria? Dunno. But it's GOT to be better than ale. Big eyes? Check. Sand between...and all over...toes? Check! Though I do come out more during the day, there is that :)
The mushooms (don't ask me why we so frequently leave out the R in my family), let's see...remember that giant to-do list I put up? I think that was the first time I mentioned the shooms on LJ, and I had been thinking about it for a couple of weeks before that due to working so much on my woodland garden (funny that you said not long ago that all my garden was missing was fungus, because I think so, too!) So I decided I was going to take these bolt things from the hardware store as a base and build toadstools out of clay around them, leaving some of the bolt sticking out the bottom so that I can push them into the ground. My first project will likely be a bunch of amanita muscaria...typical red and white toadstool, which I will put in a ring around a tree stump...I think I may put a fairy figurine (or something better, if I find something less...typical) on the stump, too. It's near the rowan though, and we all know that fairies, having poor taste, do not like rowans much. (Mountain ash, if you are more familiar with them by that name, they are more typically called rowans over in England, I believe.) But so what, I'll take pixies instead, or whatever is local...and they can just get used to the rowan.
I have a lot of wood beads, bamboo, too...I should be able to make something VERY foresty looking.
