Sometime last night I must have turned some corner, 'cause I feel much better today & I am so sorry for making everyone worry.  Almost all the swelling went away; I'm about half the size I was yesterday.  I stayed in bed for almost the entire day yesterday, & Mom brought over a heating pad for my tummy (I highly recommend those for woman cramps...it started working almost immediately), & today I feel like a new person.

I have to call my doc...he was in surgery all day yesterday but managed to call me twice, called in an extension on my darvocet (I didn't use it), & even offered to meet me at the ER last night if I wasn't feeling better.  I don't even think I need to go in for that appointment they scheduled for me this morning...I feel that much better!  I've probably been a terrible pain in the ass.  :-(

I have to remember not to do much today, even though I feel like I can.  I've been running up & down the stairs all morning, doing chores & feeling like my old self.  Another day in bed is probably a good idea though.  I think I was feeling terrible on Wednesday because I did too much.  Those are the worst cramping pains I've ever had...

Hey!  I learned something new about Etsy last night.  They have this section called the "Treasury"...it's a place where users make up picture lists of their favorite Etsy items (usually based on themes).   It's kind of like a showcase built by other Etsy users.  Well, I'm all OVER that treasury!  I have about 4 things listed throughout...who knows how many pieces I've had in there?   That explains why I often get mystery faves & sales, even when I haven't paid for a showcase.  Neat!

Last night when I was doing a quick bit of maintenance on my site (it's pretty much the only thing I let myself do yesterday, besides lie curled up in a fetal position) I saw something new on one of the Etsy sites I watch...THIS SCARF!  Of course I bought it...just look at it!  It's in my favorite colors.  I love her fringe scarves too...she doesn't just make yarn strands for her fringe, she actually crochets her fringe strands, so they have form & texture.   They look like tendrils of tiny leaves, or strands of kelp, or little icicles...so pretty.   I was looking & looking at  her stuff, especially liking this taupe "poet" scarf, but always in the back of my head hoping/wondering if she might do something that was a little more "me".  I can't wait to get it.

I have to stop looking at things on Etsy!  That place is dangerous.  *shrug*  Oh well...I usually never buy myself anything because nothing I see in stores really suits me.  The only things I've bought myself are my Neile butterflies and now this scarf...and they are SO unique & lovely & who else even knows about them?  Besides, my sales this week (even though I've been so out of it!) have more than covered my little extravegance.

Anyway...I just want to thank everyone for being so sweet & calling/leaving messages for me yesterday.  I'm SO sorry if I made anyone worry.  I was honestly pretty scared & the pain was really bad...otherwise I wouldn't have made a fuss.  *hug*  You guys are too kind to me.

PS: Did you ever buy those glass sushi dishes I picked out for you on that Etsy post, way back when? I don't think you did but I just thought I'd ask in case I was wrong.

I never did...I think someone bought them anyway. I loved them, but in this house it's stoneware ceramic or plastic because Greg is murder on glass.

I actually have my eye on this store...

She does the most charming handmade gingko plates & if I got a set of those with matching gingko chopstick rests, it'd be the cutest handmade sushi plate set EVER!

I'm dropping hints like crazy (on Greg)...Mother's day is coming...

Hehe, I didn't even have to click the link...I knew exactly which item you meant when you said 'ginkgo plates'. We have a lot of the same items/sellers on our faves lists. Fringe, for example, was among the very first people I faved on Etsy, and she IS the very first person I 'convo-ed'. (She's super nice.)

The plates are a good price, too, though I like the colour of the set in her banner rather than the first item listed in her shop...they're brighter and the brown one is replaced with cream in the set in her banner. Very pretty. Wouldn't go with my dining area...it'd have to be dark cream/soft tan, chocolate milk, black, white, gold, or deep apple red. :) (Dark green goes nice in the living room too but it isn't part of the scheme.)

Oh and I meant to say...thanks :) And I won't complain if you buy me something, I promise. Lol. :) (I have a bit of a guilt complex when it comes to people buying me stuff because I generally can't reciprocate equally.)
