Well, DevArt is good for a lot of things.  One thing it's good for is drumming up business.  I had so many requests there for my old white kitsune design that I made a few more...

My old pictures were kind of...sad.  I've gotten much better with my photography skills though.  It's up in Etsy...I already sold another one to a DA fan.

DA is so awesome!  Hey; okay I know this is probably cheesy.   BUT...anyone here who has a DA account and gets one of my pieces featured as a Daily Deviation...that person will get one of my "special" dragon keychains (I think of them as "Nagano" dragons since they are a lot like the one I made him).  The dragon will be made in whatever color you want.

Yes, this is shameless bribery, I know!   ^_^  The offer remains open though; as many times as I end up as a Daily Deviation (AND you know me here on LJ), you get a dragon.   Just drop me a private e-mail (or LJ message) and let me know who you are when it happens.

It is absolutely pouring rain here today.  The sump is going off every 20 seconds and the water draining through the sump well in my basement sounds like Niagara Falls.  The sump has only failed once (and that was because of a HUGE power outage), but even so I am praying that it'll just keep working away down there.  Otherwise, my basement would fill up like a swimming pool!

The snow is the problem; 3 feet of rapidly melting snow + rain = a wet mess.  It's almost 60 here today...can you believe that??  60 and thunderstorms forecast for later tomorrow.  Wow.   A lot of the snow is gone...I can actually see patches of grass now.  Perversely, my Mom's driveway is STILL a mess.  The snow that I couldn't move has turned to packed ice.  Nothing for it but a lot of rock salt and a lot of chipping.  :-/    I'll get the damn thing clear if it kills me.

Anyway...here's to happier times people!  I know they are just around the corner, hiding.  ^_^

Hiya, So nice to return from a trip and catch up on your blog. Your tree and ornaments are so wonderful. It's big enough to do eclectic. Put me on your list of friends having an excellent holiday! You take good care of yourself. And kudos for shoveling your mom's driveway. You are such a wonderful daughter, you put me to shame! LOVE, Chaki

Questions before buying

Hello, your mask are awesome! I am relly interested in your kitsune mask.

What are the width, height and depth of the face part?

If my face is to big, is it possible to order a bigger one with the same painting and how much would this cost?

Re: Questions before buying

Hi! The kitsune is a bit on the small size, so I do a larger version that's very generic for all face sizes. I don't charge more for it.

If you will go to my Etsy shop ( http://merimask.etsy.com ) and contact me there (you'll have to create an account, which is free and takes seconds) I'll show you all the kitsune I've done there so you can pick a design, and you can place an order for the larger version. ^_^
