I'm being way too busy and I'm doing it to myself.   Staying up until the sun comes up & then basically getting through the day by hopscotching from nap to nap.  As a result, I hardly know what day it is.  If I keep this up, I'm going to get sick (maybe?  For some reason I haven't been really sick for more than 24 hours in a long time).

I opened up a new shop on a new site.  Thought I'd try Artfire ...it has an interesting template.   Built in advertising tools & easy to navigate.  Buyers do NOT need an account there to buy (like they do on Etsy or E-bay or almost everywhere else) which I think is an awesome idea.  I like everything about it except the "make an offer" option, which I don't understand.  Does that mean someone can offer me $20 for a $100 mask?  'Cause the answer will be a big old "no".  Still confused about that a little.

Way over on the other side of the planet, Sasuke is going to happen in just 3 days!  Well...two because it's already tomorrow there.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for my favorite ninja fisherman.  Good luck Nagano-san!  ^_^V

New masks coming soon...I'm just making so many at once that I don't know what I'll finish first or when.

It sounds like you need to sit down with some tea and a good book and just be quiet for a little while. I like to be busy...for a day. Just one day at once. Give me two really busy days in a row and I crash, like I did last week. (Though doesn't it always seem like all your good new ideas come in one huge heap and then you're running on pure nerves until you can get the ideas OUT. I like that for a little while...then it starts to grate.)

Did you read 7 and 8 right away, or have you got some left? If you do, you might want to indulge in some, soon, and just forget about work for a while. Soon you'll be able to go outside and bike but until then we have to resort to other distractions... :)

I wish I had taken your advice. Instead I went for a bike ride in the freezing cold & hurt myself in the most...peculiar way. More on that later. :-(

I'm reading slooooowly...one chapter at a time. I don't read much manga anymore so I'm treating it like Godiva chocolate & making it last.

BTW... girlygothic posted your steampunk masks on the Steamfashion lj community.

So you might get some hits there. :D

Cool! That explains a few things! I had a lot of inexplicable faves last week around that time... :-)

Take care of yourself! Don't do what I did, which was get sick, start to get better so pushed myself to get all the stuff done that I didn't do while sick and then--yep--relapsed (better now).

I don't know why it seems so much harder to pace yourself and take time for yourself when you work at home than if you work at an office where someone else dictates the hours. I don't know if it's because you're the only dictating hours, and something in your head keeps ticking through the list of everything that Needs to Be Done Now, or if it's because you work at home and so can't "leave" work behind at the end of the day.

Or maybe not everyone experiences this--or maybe it's something about the kind of personality that is drawn to the types of careers that don't operate in the 9-5 boundary.

(Tired so I'm not sure I'm making sense any more).

Anyway, the point is that when you have a really hectic schedule with tons of responsibilities pulling you in dozens of directions, it's important to actually set aside "me" time--whether it's to watch a brain candy movie, go for a bike ride, read a book, or whatever. Plus, you know, remembering to do things like eat, sleep, and all that.

I'm definitely pushing it. Trying to keep people happy in my Etsy shop while setting up some new shops...it's a LOT to do.
