Just a quickie update because MY NEW BIKE IS READY!!! *skipskip*
Going to pick it up in a minute, here. I settled on a much more expensive model than I'd originally planned, but that's okay because it is SOcool.
This is the model I settled on, which is just about the top of the line. Plus, it's almost exactly like my old bike, except more souped up, so it's just what I need. Looking at Trek's official site for 2006, I can't even find that bike I briefly purchased last week. I suspect that big bicycle store I initially went to (large local chain) had sale prices because they buy out old models. Hmph.

And now I have to collect my dog and get myself to Handlebars (the place that knows what it's doing). I'll put picks of my new Trek in here soon...it's new and shiny and very very RED!!
