Yeah, I'm officially old.  Old old McOld.  S'ok though because IMO I'm still fun.   PLUS tonight my hair is  awesome  and magic just like it was in the old days, and I think that's just fine.  :-)

Anyhoo that's about all that's going on right now.  The wind is screaming outside (seriously.  Gusts of 60+ mph) and I'm worried that more branches might come down.  That storm we had over two weeks ago weakened the trees so badly that there's a good possiblity that we might lose power again, which would really suck.  :-/

Wow...

I'm simply blown away by this.  

A few months ago I drew a piece of Inuyasha-inspired fan art.  Just a concept sketch based on the observation that both Naraku and Sesshoumaru have these little girl "familiars" that have diametrically opposed natures.   I drew their faces so that their hair became the Yin & Yang symbol, which is called "Taijitu" .

The incredibly talented ash_grey_sky used this as an inspiration and wrote an amazing piece by the same name, and gifted me with it on my birthday.    You must read it, it's simply lovely and she does with words exactly what I was trying to portray with my art.
