Thanks, guys, for being so sweet & concerned about me. I'm feeling much better. ^__^
Today I got a hat in the mail! I ordered it from an Etsy seller in China, & I ordered it about six weeks ago & consequently forgot about it, so it's almost like I surprised myself with a gift just when I needed it most. It's a beret/beanie/floopy hat. Frankly I don't know what it is. I think of it as a sort of Bohemian artist's beret, I suppose. I look like a cliche in it, perhaps?

All I know is; when I'm wearing it, every time Greg looks at me he chuckles & pats me on the head. What does that mean?

Anyway I think it's cute & I wore it around the house all day. It sure as heck isn't handmade, though. The nylon tag inside says "made in China" & it's obviously mass-produced & machine-knit. I ought to turn in that seller, but the hat is cute so I'm not going to make a stink about it.
I've been taking it easy...as easy as I know how to take it anyway. Sleeping a good bit, but also making things. Someone commissioned a ladybug mask & it's been a fun little project. There are so many different kinds of ladybugs! Who knew? Also, did you know that this ugly thing is a larval ladybug? I sure didn't. I know I've seen those things & they always creep me out. I never guessed they were ladybugs that hadn't finished cooking. "Ladybug" is not the right term, by the way. Technically they are all "ladybird beetles". You learn something new every day...
My brother woke me up this morning, calling me from Paris. Paris!! He was on the corner of the Champs Elysees, looking up at the Arc de Triomphe, & he felt like sharing that with me. ^_^ How I wish I could have been there with him! I could hear Paris behind him; cars honking, whistles blowing...city noises. What a small world it is, really. I MUST travel, and soon.
*smooch* Love you all.
