Just a few things going on.  Nothing worth mentioning, really.  Umm...

I burned dinner last night.  Not all of it, really.  I left some pasta on the stove and sorta forgot about it, and it burned.  Consequently the house smells burny and I hates it.

Still haven't finished "Shadow Of The Colossus".

Haven't worn my sunglasses in over a month.  It's so gray and yuk outside that I feel like I'm living in Alaska.  S'not that cold though, it's been raining for two weeks and all the snow is gone and everything's kind of ugly and muddy and each time Kiba goes out he gets really messy.   :::sigh:::

I'm going out on Saturday to sell some stuff and hang with some friends...which is a really good thing.  As I need both money and social interaction.  Yay me!

Hrmmm...what else?  Charlotte made the honor roll at school with a 3.9 average (did I mention that?) so I'm really proud of her and stuff.  Even though she still can't clean her room.

And oh!  Kikyo meets Kouga!  Whee!  IY manga might be getting interesting again.  (I don't want to put a link in here and use up Kuro's bandwidth but the new scanlations are out on eartweak.com).  I can't help liking Kikyo.  She's so cool, and she falls off a cliff like no one I know.

Charlotte should just buy some Febreeze. Because commercials don't lie, so we know that if she sprayed her room with it, you'd walk by, see the mess, walk in to tell her off for keeping it so dirty, and be so impressed by the loverly smell that you'd say how nice it was and walk out like you were on drugs.

So there you go, Charlotte. Buy some Febreeze. Then you don't even have to get such good grades to get away with keeping a dirty room. :)

Ack! That would so totally work on me too, because I'm a sucker for good smells. Smells clean = IS clean, in my book. You have good ideas and are not allowed to give my kid cleaning tips! ;-)

Whoa, that kid is teh smart! Eh, cleaning the room is overrated...unless there is something scary in there...like mold, or dust bunnies the size of the toy poodles. Then you should worry.

Argh! I'm behind on IY manga! Waaaay behind. And I'm just now learning that Naraku is back. Grr....

She is smart (so was I) but she's also a ~much~ better student than I was. I could not show up for half my classes and ace the exams, so I was lazy. Barely passed because I coasted on my natural smarts. She, however, has been encouraged (by me, 'cause you hate to see your kids make the same mistakes you did) to learn how to study, which is such an important skill in college. She wants to be an exchange student (guess which country she wants to go to?) and I told her they only admit the best students into those programs, so she's really kicking ass in school this year. :-)

Ah that's so cool. Being an exchange student would be fun I think. In my old highschool, we would get Japanese exchange students. And every year-none of them could speak one word of English. And the people they were staying with knew about ten words of Japanese. It had to suck so badly for them. I was in the restroom one time, and our school was really crummy, we had horrible plumbing that had no hot water and would spray the hell out of you with the cold if you barely turned the nozzle. And there was this tiny little Japanese girl in there about to turn on the water, which I knew was going to drench her. She didn't understand my "Wait!" warning and got soaked. I just had to shrug and smile at her. Welcome to James River High School. XD

I was a decent student in school. The only classes I was interested in was Art and English. So I had a hard time with the other classes. Course I rocked in Ecology class. Course we didn't actually do or learn anything...our teacher was such a slacker.
