Oh boy...not much to say that won't sound all "poor me"...

Charlotte got SO sick after her class trip to 6 Flags on Saturday.  I don't know if it was the freakishly scary rides which perhaps gave her "shaken Charlotte syndrome"  (when the heck did everyone decide that amusement park rides had to be on a par with NASA astronaut training equipment, 'cause I missed that memo), or maybe the bad park food (she HAD to have a hamburger) but the kid started throwing up on Sunday and she only just stopped recently.

And I'm a real bad "sympathy puker"...and of course I was in attendance for all the horrible aftermath (while somehow being unfortunate enough to miss the 6 Flags part).  Charlotte is NOT a good sick person.  Me, I go to bed.  She stayes up and cries and carries on and makes the whole episode worse X 10  (she was exactly the same way when she was a baby...it's funny how we just become more of who we are as we mature).  So, you know, it was an ugly weekend.  Ugly ugly.

Anyway she's fine now and I'm fine and we're all fine.  I'm just tired and out of sorts.  I really need to sleep.

In other news, I mailed a couple of packages, so that was something nice.  :-)  Always love sending boxes of joy out there into the world...it makes me happy.

And Kiba has his new dog pool.  I buy him a kiddie pool to splash around in every summer and it is the CUTEST thing.  Pictures will be taken soon.  There will be much cooing.

Yep.  That's all I have for now.

I feel your pain. I'm a sympathetic puker as well. Even the thought can sometimes send me into gagging fits.

Yes yes. Tired and out of sorts. Hope you get some good sleep and sort yourself out. :D Okay, that was corny. I need to go to bed myself. XD

:-( thank you. Waah. *I'm too sick now to be coherent*

Oh man. Usually I do alright when I go to amusement parks, but when I was a kid I used to get headaches that probably came with dehydration. So I've taken to bringing a little Excedrin or Aleve with me whenever I go and that's never failed. Drugs, baby. XD Just kidding.

That and making sure I've got enough water... which leads to lotsa pee breaks, but I'd rather be in need of pee breaks than horribly sick. XP

Glad to hear you're both fine now, though. ^^ *huggles* And your doggeh really IS the prettiest doggeh I think I've ever seen. Hehe, can't wait for summer!Kiba pics! ;)

Aww! The Pup icon is TOO cute...he's even wearing Inuyasha's necklace. Does it work? ("sit!")

The whole thing has turned into a virulent virus thing (rather than amusement park oogies or food poisoning like I thought), so EVERYONE is sick now. Waah!

By the way, I shipped your gift out last Friday. I'm not sure how long it'll take (US Global Priority Mail) but let me know when it gets there 'cause I worry 'bout things getting lost...especially when I'm mailing them to the other side of the world! :-)

Was it the present for your brother that you sent out, or did I dream up you saying that? I don't remember if you put up a picture of it but I thought you said you'd made something and would put up a picture. But I'm very good at imagining up things that never happened.

You have to buy a new pool every summer? Don't they last very long?

Ugh, sorry for the sicky. I've only ever thrown up maybe ten times in my life...and that might be exaggerating. It might be more like five separate occasions. (Not including multiple pukings, since they kind of all lump together if it's within the same half hour.) So I've never gotten used to it and find it pretty horrific. :P Blarg.

Hmm...I sent a present to my brother and a couple of late gifts to LJ folks (I've been terrible with birthday presents!). My life is so crazy.

And yeah, Kiba gets to chewing on his pool so I figured I'd just get him a new one this year (they're only, like, five bucks). I like this year's pool much better...it's kind of pretty!

Wah. I know exactly how she feels, and also exactly how you feel since I once lived with six younger siblings and cleaned up puke on a regular basis. I'm not a sympathy puker anymore, kind of had to get over that, but I used to be! *pats back sympathetically*

Sick kiddies are no fun. Sorry you had such a crappy weekend.

You'd think I'd be inured to the nasty body functions...what with being a mom. It's been so long though, since I did the whole "baby maintenance" thing, thast I'm just no good at it anymore.

BLAAAAAAARGH I, too, am a sympathetic puker. The sound, sometimes just THINKING about the sound, and I'm off.

...I wonder what kind of evolutionary purpose that serves. Possibly because we all used to eat the same things together as a family, so puking meant one of the persons in your living group ate something bad, so YOU ate something bad, so better puke it up now so your kidneys don't turn inside out or whatever.

...I think too much. Glad Char is feeling better, though, and hope YOU get some rest! Next time drug her up so she'll sleep.

Hee! That's an interesting thought. Sympathy puking as a vestigal self-preservation reflex...I don't doubt it!

And the whole thing has turned out to be some kind of scary-ass virulent stomach virus thing that has destroyed everyone in this house. :-( Maaan... I guess that's better than a concussion or food poisoning, but we only have one bathroom here and we're ALL sick. Ugly ugly.

I have a strong resistant gag reflex, it's just the smell that get's me. I have a very sensitive nose.

Poor Charlotte and poor you! *pets* That poor kid, maybe she picked up a virus around all those people. You never know what could be going around.

When I get very ill I always end up sitting up all night long and drinking gallons of water just so I won't throw up. I'm terrified of hurling. I hate it. And I never end up telling anyone, so I end up sitting up all night long rocking in place like some crazy person by myself. O.o

Hee, Kiba in a pool! That sounds so cute.

Waah! Poor me is right. We ALL ended up getting sick (turns out it's some really nasty 48 hour virus) and yet somehow *I* end up having to take care of everyone! I call no fair.

But think of all the Karma you're amassing! It's bound to kick in some time!
