Huh.   *scratching head*    Did anyone watch "Lost" tonight?

Anyone?

Is it just me or does anyone else suspect the writers have NO clue where they're going with this ongoing saga from season to season?  And perhaps they never have?   It's like "The Village" meets "Hot Chicks From Cell Block D" meets "Flowers For Algernon" meets "The Deerhunter" meets "PeeWee's Big Adventure" meets "Castaway" meets "Beyond Thunderdome"...

It's just all over the place.  And the fanservice is blatant.  Sawyer in a cage (News flash!  Beefcake behind bars!  Story at six!), Kate cleans up and dresses like a girl,  Jack has trust issues (aww!) but he's trying real hard (aww!)...SPARE me.  I feel manipulated.  *pout*

Plus, no Sayid!  I call no fair.

In other news I bought the cutest outfit today.  Going to a wedding this weekend (and another in San Francisco next month) so I got these adorable black gaucho-style slacks and a pretty frilly blue paisley top to go with.  Very classy.  :-)  Even got some high heels to go with!   So there!  *kicks alter ego Frumpy McSportswear right in the ass*

I also bought a cute black tunic with little embroidered flowers all over it to wear to the Hockey game on Friday.  Go Sabres!

Back to work.  The eBay auctions are working in the most enfuriating, perverse way.  I'm not selling anything on eBay, but the auctions get a ton of watchers and generate a ton of custom orders...go figger.  *shrug*

And!  If Okami doesn't get here soon I'm going to gnaw my thumbs off in frustration.   I'm playing innocuous little "filler" games while waiting for Okami to arrive.  I've already beaten "Mario Sunshine" and played both "Pikmin" and "Pikmin 2" to death.  Last night after I got good and sick of Tetris (I'm up at level 27, people) I actually plugged in and played "Pokemon Puzzle".  Shoot me.  Please.

I've always suspected that with Lost. Given, I've only seen the sesond half of.the second season, but still. It seemed they were bouncing around everywhere.

Sooo...basically, eBay kinda turned into a big ad? Well...I suppose that works. ...kinda...

And why must everyone else get to play Okami? I am teh sads ;_;

"Lost" Is going all "Twin Peaks", last season of "X Files" on me. :-/ I'm beginning to lose the thread of the story and I suspect the writers have too, and so I'm beginning to lose interest.

Though a few beach scenes with a shirtless Sayid will drag me right back in again. *le sigh* I'm an ass.

Hee! Okami JUST came! Just now! It's sitting here mocking me!

*skipskip*

Ooh, shopping for pretty clothes! I do love it. :)

I have actually never seen Lost, but I will laugh, because you played "Pokémon Puzzle." *grin*

I'm not good at shopping for clothes...I tend to get impatient and give up in frustration if the don't have what I want. I guess I just got lucky this time 'cause everything looked cute. :-)

Haha! I used to be the Poke'-Mom, y'know. PikaPika.

You beat Mario Sunshine? I owe you a drink , I could not get through that game.

stupid 3D levels, gimme World 3-1 anytime!

I beat Mario Sunshine a few times but I can NOT get 100% completion. I got 112 sprites once...it was pure torture and I think I cried on a couple of occasions. I only got 102 sprites this time 'cause I was just messing around wasting time. :-)

I got to the yoshi point, went "wait, it runs out of time for you? screw this..." and kinda quit

I hate 3D platforms with a passion, and very few have gotten through to me as a good game.

Haha! Silly! All you need to do is eat a piece of fruit (which is layin' around all over the place) and you get more Yoshi time. :-) But if you don't like 3D platform games I can see why Mario Sunshine would be a pain in the ass. It's SUCH an exacting platform game. I like 'em though so for me it's actually relaxing to play it.

Still, bah to it. It left a taste like day-old fish in my mouth.

On the other hand, I now owe you two drinks due to your 3D prowness

Blag...at least the eBay thing is bring in sales in one form or other.... I suppose.......

So.......you're gonna be in Frisco, huh? When and for how long? Cause my sickly fried little brain has started conjering up little schemes... Namely, if you had or could rent a car.....Redding is only three hours north of SF, and 5 south for me (hell, sure beats an 8 hour drive AND there's an In n' Out in Redding....OMG I need a fix.)

Heh...tolja. No biggie if it doesn't pan out (obviously, you're there for other reasons)... it just popped into my head when you mentioned SF.

Hee! We'll exchange phone numbers and I'll see if something can be arranged. I'll have a whole week there. Maybe I'll take a day off and catch a train or something up north (I'm not planning on having access to a car...but still!)...it'd be fun!

I just checked Amtrak - there's a bus/train combo out of SF into Eugene.... and it's a 14 hour trip. XP That's no good. Unless you're good at sleeping on trains, though that would really eat into your week. And it was about $60....might be cheaper (would certainly be faster!) to rent a car...

Ooooh, I like the sound of the new clothes. I do so love your taste (cute Niagara clothing stores anyone?)

And off to San Francisco, you lucky devil! I hope it's gorgeous and not too cold by next month.

(Slight non-sequiteur, but in class the other day, we had to create a corporate invitation and RSVP card based on a contemporary designer and I picked your bro. He's just way too cool and given the chance, I'd love to just hover over his shoulder and watch hom work for a day.)

I still say you need one of those adorable shirts!

I'm betting that SF will be warmer than Buffalo by the time mid-November rolls around. This place gets really cold, really fast.

And OMG John would be so tickled! He's all over the place...keep an eye out for the new Sketchers (sp? You know...the shoe company) ad campaign. He just created a cute new logo/icon for them and I guess the commercials and tie-ins will be nationwide. :-)
