moonphased...if you want to be surprised in about a week, DON"T LOOK.

So, moonphased just had a birthday, and moonphased sent me Amaterasu last week, and moonphased LOVES a video game called Blue Dragon.

So I made this for her.

It's very blue, and it's a dragon.  I took a few liberties with the horn color and the number of face spikes, but I think it looks pretty close to the big guy in the game.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun making it & I really hope she likes him.  :-)  Into a box and off to Japan he goes!  My masks have SO much more fun than I do...  *sniffle*

In other news; I just ordered some new summer clothes and new sandals (really cute Skechers, which is ironic since, heh, my brother does the commercials for them).  Hopefully everything will arrive in time for my trip to Vegas.  I need to look faaabulous, darlings.

It's a pity we can't pack ourselves into boxes and visit foreign countries that easily, isn't it? Though I can't imagine it'd be a very comfortable mode of transportation.

Lucky Moonphased, though. That's a lovely mask.

I'm sorry that the spirit fest was such a bomb (I've been gone, so I'm still catching up) but it sounds like you had a nice memorial day weekend at least.

I like to live vicariously through my well-travelled art, sometimes. :-) I've sent masks to every continent (except Antarctica...heh).

Aww! You're so sweet to say I look fabulous. You've seen me in 100+ heat...so I suppose you've already seen me at my worst. Hoo boy, I hope Pennsic doesn't set any heat records this year (but I fear it will).

I'm already over Spiritfest (we've been calling it "Spiritbust" and "Dissappear fest" around the house) and I'm looking forward to the next thing. Busy busy. :-)
