moonphased...if you want to be surprised in about a week, DON"T LOOK.

So, moonphased just had a birthday, and moonphased sent me Amaterasu last week, and moonphased LOVES a video game called Blue Dragon.

So I made this for her.

It's very blue, and it's a dragon.  I took a few liberties with the horn color and the number of face spikes, but I think it looks pretty close to the big guy in the game.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun making it & I really hope she likes him.  :-)  Into a box and off to Japan he goes!  My masks have SO much more fun than I do...  *sniffle*

In other news; I just ordered some new summer clothes and new sandals (really cute Skechers, which is ironic since, heh, my brother does the commercials for them).  Hopefully everything will arrive in time for my trip to Vegas.  I need to look faaabulous, darlings.

Yep, that's my brother John (I just have the one brother)...he's incredibly talented & works with the big boys. He did the Skechers animated ads that you're seeing on several national cable stations. Here's a link to one of the ads on YouTube...John doea all the voices too!

John's wearing the striped shirt. He's so funny...he sent me this pic with nothing more than a short accompanying message "...try to pick out your brother in this picture."

So I wrote back "It is deeply offensive & disturbing to me, a child of the 80's, that my brother looks hotter than Sting."

He's divorced but has an awesome & adorable girlfriend. She inspires a lot of his art...if you look you'll see her in it.
