Holy monkey...

The diet's working.  I've lost twenty pounds (maybe more but I think some of it is just normal water retaining fluctuation).  No, I am not comfortable enough with my body to do a before/after pic yet, and I'm still wearing my old clothes (but omg they are getting so loose on me!!), but I see this heading in a very positive direction and hilariously, by this winter I'm going to look GREAT in a bathing suit.  :-)

Oh well.

Though...I kinda do a LOT of picture entries so I can't imagine what anyone would want to see that hasn't been seen already.  

Today it is HOT here...yay for central air.   There's a cold front moving in this afternoon with a potential for some real "wrath of god" storms (but I've heard that so many times this month that I'm not holding my breath).  It'd be nice, because everything is going all brown and crunchy...we haven't had a decent rainstorm all month.

I will be boring and recycle my request from Rumi's version: art supplies/workspace! Because I bet you have a really awesome selection of paints and brushes and leather tools and all that good stuff. :)

Or if that's too boring...pictures of your old Aussies, as I don't think I've ever seen them and there is always room for more cute puppy photos.

Awwwww. So much cuteness. I love Ruby's coloring, she has much the same red-and-gold palette my old akita/GSD mix had. And you can just tell what a total character Tuck is...I especially love that action shot, he's like a whirlwind given canine form!

And a glamorous workspace is probably one that doesn't get USED much. I'd much rather see an INTERESTING one. ;)

He howls EVERY time we ask him to sit. It's his way of protesting an obviously ridiculous request. He does sit every time I ask him to, but he also HOWLS every time. So I guess that's sort of "on cue". You ought to hear the ruckus he raises when I say "Down!". ;-)

I second the request for the workspace photo. I'm really curious how you're set up.

It's circle-of-hell hot here, and I wish we had central air. The Mr. Slim system will go in next year. For now, I'm surviving on a little window unit in the bedroom and good insulation in the house. If that fails, we'll just buy another window unit for downstairs. They don't cost that much anymore.

What is it with cats and task chairs? There have been so many days when I could have taken a similar shot at my drafting table or sewing desk. Although at least Strega has mostly left mine alone ever since she's developed this sudden knitting-basket obsession...but I'm sure that in another week or so she'll be back to the chairs.

And I had no idea you did tooled belts! Next time you're up for a swap I would so leap at that, what with the weight loss leaving all my pants too big and my nicest belt now only fits low on the hips (and that's after adding lots of extra holes, too!)
