Yup. It looks like Mouryoumaru did in fact actually eat Naraku (referring to the Inuyasha manga scanlations on Ear-Tweak...). More correctly, he made a sort of Naraku-corndog out of himself and absorbed him. Ewww. I call no fair. I'm not buying it just yet, but what a revolting development. I wonder what Naraku fewmets look like... :::shudder:::

Tomorrow I'm doing a little teeny event, not much more than an art/craft fair really. But, it'll be the first time I get to unleash Inuyasha, Kikyo, and Kirara on the general public, so that'll be fun. The kids do love it when I bring the fan art along...

Holy monkey, I am all over that Kirara piece, the composition is so fluid, you can relaly tell that she's a badass kitty and you do NOT mess with her!

And ew to the kind of obstruction Naraku is sure to render on one's GI tract.

Thanks. :-) I like Kirara too. It was fun to draw her ~my~ way, because (and really I DO love Takahashi-sensei, BUT...she can't draw animals) in the manga/anime Kirara looks like a lemur. A giant flaming sabre-toothed lemur, and that's just not scary. A giant flaming sabre-toothed ~tiger~, however...now that's scary.

At the event I sold three of those Kirara prints and not one person knew who/what she was. In a way (like PZB pointed out)that's neat because that means my art spoke to them, rather than Takahashi's character.

Mouryoumaru needs to take new Jyaki-B-Gone, guaranteed to clear up miasma-indigestion and sour-youkai-stomach due to absorbing one's nemesis.
